Since this was a short(er) cruise, we only had one Fun Day at Sea and this was it! We woke up without an alarm which was a treat in itself. After reading on the balcony for a little bit, we ventured out to the enjoy the Seaday Brunch.

Fat Stack Pancakes with Chocolate Chips
Ham and Cheddar Omelet
Mac n’ Cheese
Believe it or not, there were still some places on the ship we hadn’t explored yet, so we walked off some of our brunch to check them out. Here’s the Romeo and Juliet Lounge:
A long bench along the wall with several small tables and chairs
The Musical Cafe with specialty coffees and milkshakes available for purchase
There are daily puzzles and brain-busters at the Musical Cafe
Along the Elation’s Way Promenade on the way back to the Cole Porter Club Aft Lounge, there was a trophy case with inaugural visit plaques from many of the places where the Carnival Elation has docked. There are always some neat ones to see!
The Blue Iguana Tequila Bar
The Red Frog Rum Bar
After walking around for a little bit, we decided to relax on the serenity deck, so we went back to the room to change into swimsuits. By the time we arrived on the serenity deck, we weren’t able to find three loungers together but we did snag three chairs together. Not long after, we hit the hot tubs after they cleared out.

All in all it was a relaxing afternoon, perfect for our last full day of the cruise
The pool was busy and everyone was having fun

At 3pm, the Jacksonville Jaguars played the New England Patriots in the NFL playoffs. Our ship left from Jacksonville, so there were a ton of Jaguars fans on board plus a couple Patriots fans scattered around. The game was shown in the Cole Porter Lounge, so we went to watch. Some people are against watching sports while cruising, but we’ve watched a couple big games on board cruise ships and it’s always fun to hear everyone cheering and rooting on their favorite team. It’s really fun when the game is shown on the screen above the pool! Since the Elation doesn’t have a pool screen, the lounge was the next best option. The Jaguars ended up losing but it was a fun experience.
By the time the game ended, the sun was already setting.
The mini golf area on deck 14 was pretty empty
Lots of clubs and golf balls available
The ping pong table was also open
Looking over the pool area at sunset. Not many swimmers as the weather was a bit chilly on the way back to Jacksonville.
By this point it was time for dinner. Here’s the appetizer menu:
Beef and Barley Soup
Marinated Chicken Tenders

Oven Roasted Mojito Chicken
Chicken Milanese
Beef Lasagna
Tonight’s dessert menu… no pictures because we all got the Carnival Melting Chocolate Cake. It’s hard to go wrong with this one, especially after the last dinner of the trip.
The towel animal monkey in our room
The rest of the night was filled with packing our suitcases to leave tomorrow. We did a couple more laps around the ship and then turned in for the night.
